The owners live next door couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The cottage is roomy, and there's a garden for BBQs, or just to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. It's away from the touristy areas but only 3 minutes from shopping. Beach is beautiful!

I'd choose this over a hotel any time.

We've stayed at Avidanella Lodge for three straight years and will definitely be back. They have numbers of very spacious rooms for any family size, free wi-fi, and a wonderful and friendly staff.

We spent two full weeks at Avidanella and our only regret is not staying longer. The cottage is clean and well-appointed, full kitchen, carport, comfy beds, etc, but we found that we spent most of our time hanging outside. The location was good for exploring the coastal area and we found lots of places well worth visiting locally. We had a wonderful holiday and intend to return!

We are a Canadian family that has been at this resort for a second time within the last 4 years. Nice and suburban place, no technological penetration, and as other reviewers said "country style"! Clean shore and warm sea, at least in July. Unfortunately, this summer, the weather was not really comfortable to run into the mountains due to frequent storms, but it didn't effect the fireworks and other activities. The only concern is the Internet access... it was available at the lobby/beach place ONLY, no access in villa :( but it was keeping our son off the laptop, at least in the rooms! We selected this hotel based on the TripAdvisor's review, and were not disappointed at all. Well, this lodging is not a luxury one, but very nice maintained and friendly places where you can enjoy a simple home atmosphere.
